Knowing and understanding one's personality type, as well as those around you, can be a critical step to progress in personal and professional development. It can be an important compoment of one's Self Understanding.
I first became accredited in a very well known personality typology instrument called Myers Briggs Type Indicator, which has been extensively used since being first released in 1948 following the work of Carl Jung in the early 1900s. I have subsequently procceded down the a accreditation path in the Hogan Assessments suite, which is more directed as a selection and development tool in the business environment. Both instruments have their uses depending on the needs of the relevant individual and organisation.
