Knowing and understanding one's personality type, as well as those around you, can be a critical step to progress in personal and professional development.

I first became accredited in a very well known personality typology instrument called Myers Briggs Type Indicator, which has been extensively used since being first released in 1948 following the work of Carl Jung in the early 1900s.

I have subsequently proceeded down the a accreditation path in the Hogan Assessments suite, which is more directed as aselection and development tool in the business environment.

Both instruments have their uses depending on the needs of the relevant individual and organisation.

There are 4 Hogan instruments as follows:

Hogan Personality Inventory - a state of the art measure of normal personality, based on the well known psychological Five Factor Model - please click here for more details.

Hogan Development Survey - an inventory designed to measure potential career derailing tendencies include 11 patterns of behaviour that impede work relationships, hinder productivity or limit overall career potential - please click here for more details

Hogan Motives, Values, Preferences Inventory - a measure based on 80 years research regarding motivational constructs that reveal a person's core values, which are key to work and life satisfaction - please click here for more details

Hogan Business Reasoning Inventory - evaluates peoples’ ability to solve different business related problems, and these solutions then drive decision making - please click here for more details
